How do models stream from OBS on a FluffCams Pro site?
Models who want scenes, overlays or several cameras can stream from OBS instead of their browser camera. You switch it on once; each model then finds a private address in their Studio and pastes it into OBS.
You needOBS streaming needs the streaming server to accept it: the tech specs list what that takes.
- 1
Switch on WHIP
In the admin panel go to Live room, then find "Let models stream from OBS by WHIP" and switch it on. WHIP passes the model's picture through as OBS makes it, so it costs your server almost nothing. An RTMP stream key is a separate switch, for programs and multistreaming services that only send RTMP.

The model opens their OBS panel
In the Studio the model opens "Stream from OBS or other software". It shows their own server address and bearer token, which only work for their room.
- 3
Paste it into OBS
In OBS 30 or newer the model opens Settings, then Stream, chooses the service WHIP, and pastes the server and the bearer token. Under Output they use the x264 encoder (or a hardware H.264 encoder) with no B-frames and a keyframe interval of 2 seconds.

Start streaming
The model presses Start Streaming in OBS. The panel in the Studio turns green when the picture arrives, and the model goes live from the Studio as usual: private shows, tips and the chat all work the same.
- Virtual cameras such as OBS Virtual Camera work like any webcam in the browser, with nothing to switch on.
- Models who use a multistreaming service add your site there as a "Custom RTMP" destination with their stream key.
Questions
Which OBS version do models need?
OBS 30 or newer for WHIP. Older versions and other programs use the RTMP stream key.
Does OBS streaming slow the site down?
WHIP does not: the picture is passed through without re-encoding. RTMP streams are re-encoded on the streaming server, which is why WHIP is the recommended way.
